Pressure

for the past four years, my work has been directed at analysing the pressure artists go through in order to stimulate the creative process. I search for different fuels that they use to maintain their cool and preserve the controlled facades they seem to wear in the face of deadlines, be it for exhibitions, during workshops or residencies. The last work I did was based on smoking as a fuel. The desire to smoke is usually high prior to creating some good work or when faced with a deadline. I am currently working on pressure that is exerted by different mediums like stone, wood steel, and paint e.t.c before the work of art comes out.
