Last year I was making performances with the collaboration of institutions like the police or the navy, based on the idea of trying and believing in the possibilities of the impossible-probably just because I wanted to prove to myself that things were achievable-using interpretation and conviction as powerful tools to make my wishes come true. The performances were documented as ‘video-performances’ in order to make independent products out of them.

Now, my wishes are very different even if ‘the impossible’ remains tempting to me. I’m looking forward to develop a different kind of work, allowing myself to continue exploring, experimenting, discovering, or at least chasing. I need to escape from the safety feeling these pieces were giving me. Nevertheless I’m still very interested in the contradictions that these works reveal about my political, ethical, moral, and social beliefs.
