Tuesday 8th March - This morning we took part in the Health Walk from the Sports Centre unaware of what had happened to John.

It was a lovely morning and we were joined by three new companions, Jean, Shanthi and Shiranee, all enthusiastic about the Park.  Jacquie, Carole and Fiona were missing - hope they ae OK?

We left the Sports Centre, entered the Park and headed for the lake.  We went up through Dog Kennel Wood, back along the cycle track towards the M6 down through the wood, up the steps to the lake, round the lake and back up the hill towards Clayton Brook, along past the Ponderosa and down and up back to the Sports Centre for tea and Biscuits.  

I'm missing from the photos (I'm taking them - Michael) and I tend to be the back marker for the Sports Centre walks.
