Health Walk Thursday 28th July 2011

Not quite so sunny today but it was still nice.  We had eight of us for today's Health Walk from the Barn, including two leaders.  Irene came so Irene, Maureen and Michael took a short cut through Dog Kennel Wood and Gravel Hole Wood while David took Helen, Jackie and Mary alongside the lake and up past Cam Cottage and back down the field, past the cows, into the outskirts of Gravel Hole Wood where we led them up over the new bridge into the pinetum and back to the Barn for refreshments.  This was a new route for those who only walk from the Barn but a very familiar one for those who also walk from the Sports Centre however, David made it all new because he pointed out and talked about the flora.
