Health Walk Tuesday 9th August 2011

Tuesday 9th August - Health Walk from the Sports Centre.  It looked very menacing as we gathered for the walk but the forecast was correct - it didn't rain and we had bursts of sunshine, not quite as much as we'd expected.
Seven of us today, all the regular Sports Centre participants plus Gaz - Carole, Helen, Jacqueline, Jim, June, Mary & Michael.
Not having decided which walk to do we entered the Park and Michael turned left.  When we reached Cam Lane Gaz said turn left again and we walked along Cam Lane to Sheephills.  We entered the Park again towards the bottom of Sheephill and worked our way through the woods and fields down to the cycle track and back to Town Brow.  Across the road and over the stepping stones, eventually joining the cycle track again, up round the lake and on the back east back to the Sports Centre for our usual tea/coffee/water and biscuits.  Another good morning.
