Health Walk Tuesday 4th October 2011

Tuesday 4th October - It didn't look very promising as we set out from the Sports Centre but we completed the walk in dry albeit a little chilly weather.  Today we only had six participants including the leader.  We set off through the woods, where rangers and volunteers were working, across the field, with grazing cattle, then again we met two volunteers improving the footpath, and along the river to my favourite stepping stones.  Sue said "No way am I crossing those!" so we walked on down to the next lot but one.

Who wants to go first?  Obviously I'm at the other side and the walkers are posing but Dedrah led the way.
We got to the road and crossed over into the south part of the Park.  Then Dedrah left us, she was due at Lisieux Hall, as we walked across the refurbished bridge up towards Wood End.  Then a new leader emerged.  Helen took over and led us back to the Sports centre over a completely new route.
