Health Walk - Tuesday Morning 1st November - The forecast last night wasn't good but we woke up to a lovely day and surprisingly there were only four of us turned up at the Sports Centre and one of those was a new walker, Elizabeth.
We set off into the Park, Green Wood, and walked along the top path northwards, roughly.

We soon encountered volunteers led by Peter renewing the path-side reinforcements.
We carried on and entered the field above the lake and walked down to the lake.
We were just in time to see a lone fisherman landing a catch - caught in the act - sorry.
We walked round the lake and down the steps, across the picnic area and over the stone bridge taking the path to the right,
up and into the wood on the right, next to the nature reserve. We rejoined the cycle track and entered Cock Cabin Wood
We walked through the wood, round Cock Cabin pond and back onto the
cycle track towards the cinder path.
We walked along the Cinder Path onto the road to Cuerden Hall.
We walked round the front of the Hall and found our way into the east side of the Pinetum and down to the new bridge. We turned right and then left up into Gravel Hole Wood.
Gaz reconnoitred the field, looking for the cows and we decided that they were too far away down in the dip, further there were only three of them. Mary agreed to brave the walk up the field on to Cam Lane.
We crossed Cam Lane back into Green Wood and out into the ASDA cark park and back the the Sports Centre for coffee and biscuits.
