Tuesday 8th May -  The walk from the Sports Centre.  Nine of us today including Gareth our leader.

Half way into our walk and I finally get the camera out.  We've just come up from the Stone Bridge and are about to enter Cock Cabin Wood.  The track you can see beyond the gate used to lead to Stag Lodge, we walked up from Stag Lodge many times before the M65 cut the Park in two.

The leaves/buds on the trees are at their best, all different shades of green and brown

The Great Crestred Grebes, have they nested?  The right-hand one in photo 17 has a fish in its mouth.

Today's walk, it took us just over seventy minutes.
