Tuesday 19th June - Oh! Some very black clouds and we'd had showers. What to wear? Is it going to rain? Is it going to be warm?
Undeterred, we all met at the Sports Centre. I say all only six of us turned up today plus Gareth.
Gareth had planned a new walk! We set off in the direction of the Lord Nelson and before we got there we turned right into the little park that runs, roughly, parallel to the A6.
There were patches of blue sky showing.
We came to the end of the little park and walked along the A6 to Whittle-Le-Woods, where we turned off down Kem Mill Lane.
As we crossed the old bridge we spotted two Grey Wagtails 'talking' to each other.

Our second rest when we reached Lower Kem Mill. We really enjoy our walks, especially meeting people, also it seems to cheer them up having some to talk to.

A white rose, there were also red ones but my photo is out of focus. The pond doesn't look very appetising?

Honeysuckle
We were out for quite a while, around 90 minutes and not much time resting.
Today's walk.
