Health Walk

Tuesday 25th September -  No sunshine today but rain, rain and more rain.

Only three of us turned up at the Sports Centre today, Bernadette, Michael and Peter, Gareth making four altogether.  Now don't think the others had faint hearts, most of them had to be elsewhere.  We set off into the Park with waterproofs and umbrellas.  Turning left we walked up to Cam Lane and down to the northern entrance to Dog Kennel Wood.  Through the wood and down along the cycle track back to the lake.

The river was full but not quite overflowing as it had done earlier this year.  The archive photos were taken by Park staff in January 2008.

We made our way back to the Sports Centre where Gareth informed us there were no brews today, the upper corridor was flooded with rain leaking through the newly repaired roof.
