Thursday 6th December - Starting from the Barn. We had no milk today so Sue volunteerd to go and get some while we set off on our walk, ten of us (plus Sue) despite the gloom, ice and cold. The ground was very slippy; where should we walk that would be safest? We decided to walk round the south side of the Hall and then down towards the Stone Bridge.
We followed the cycle track north up the hill and into the wood then Cock Cabin Wood.

Christmas decorations, coloured baubles - had the fairies been out? Then another tree decorated just further along the path, shall we dance?

Cock Cabin Pond, the first time we've walked past it frozen this autumn, no reflections today. Back on the cycle track with the sun trying to break through.

Along the cinder path and back towards the Hall - keep on the left when there's no footpath, face the oncoming traffic! Only forty minutes today!
