Health Walk

Thursday 14th February -  Walking from the Barn today it was dry, overcast but no wind.  It was quite mild, a nice change, a lovely morning with the sun breaking out as we finished our walk.  We were up again to fifteen with Brian and Jacquie back from holidays in warmer climes.

Peter agreed to lead and proposed the route he had checked out on Sunday, Elizabeth agreed to be Back Marker.

Leaving the Pinetum we walked down to the new Bridge. Here the stronger walkers went up into Dog Kennel Wood and the three others, led by Michael, walked along the cycle track alongside the river, which was quite high and flowing furiously.

The Park was saturated with water everywhere.

We're all back on the same route now but we four are slightly ahead of the main group.

Sue came in time to organise the tea/coffee and biscuits
