Health Walk - Thursday 4th April 2013

Another lovely morning for our walk from the Barn today.  The wind was bitter cold but the sun was shining most of the time.   We were fourteen today.

Michael was the leader with Carol, Elizabeth and Liz the Back Markers.

We welcomed two new walkers, Frank and Millie, both experienced walkers.

We walked down to the Stone Bridge.  Most of us walked along the bottom of the dam, up the steps and round the Lake, up the hill into the field and back down to the northern entrance to Dog Kennel Wood.  Two of us took a short cut and walked from the Stone Bridge directly into Dog Kennel Wood.

We caught up with them again as we left Gravel Hole Wood and we all walked south along the river bank, back along the cycle track, over the New Bridge and diverted again as we made different exits from the Pinetum.
