Health Walk - Tuesday 7th January

Tuesday 7th January - The Park is now organising Health Walks on a Tuesday, 10:00 am start, for six weeks to see if there is a demand for them.
Today for the first Tuesday Walk, despite the cold wet and possibly windy conditions, ten people arrived at the Barn to walk. We were privileged to have David Beattie with us and he introduced an element of nature appreciation into the walk.

Here David is pointing out the Owl box and telling us the best times to watch. He also pointed out the Butterbur at the end of the path down to the New Bridge. The Butterbur usually shows in March, this year it is very early. When we reached the reservoir, aka Lake, he showed us the Goosanders that had arrived recently. We may see more of David now that we are walking on Tuesdays
