Health Walk

Michael led today's walk and he was determined that we would get back to the normal 60 minute walk.  There were fourteen of us.

We set of towards the Cinder Path.

Here we are walking round Cock Cabin Pond with the sun shining on us.

At the Stone Bridge Sue elected to do the shorter walk and Jacqueline stayed with her, they headed back up to the Barn.

Dorothy and Christine leading the remaining group up to the Lake.  As we breasted the top step we were greeted by a cold biting wind so we didn't hang about.  We continued round the Lake and up into the field and back down again to Dog Kennel Wood.

We came across a group of partisans, had we surprised them, what were they up to?

Perhaps they were remnants of Dad's Army?

We strolled on through Dog Kennel Wood, Gravel Hole Wood and up into the Pinetum.

Back in the Barn enjoying our refreshments and looking forward to next Tuesday's walk.
