Brian led today's walk and there were seventeen of us of varying ambitions.  The weather was kind, that is the rain held off but it was overcast, not cold.

We set of towards the Cinder Path.  Where the Cinder Path meets the cycle track, P1 on the map, Four of the group elected to do a short walk and set of towards Cock Cabin Wood.  The rest of the group followed Brian over the M6 bridge.

Here we are walking under the M65 on the A49, a short unpleasant section from the main Park to the northern section.

Heading down towards the kissing gate at the Northern car park.  We walked past the Pond and up the hill under the pylons where I took Photo 5 which is a cobbled up version of three photos.

We arrived back at P1 again.  Brian led most of the group back down the Cinder Path but five of the group decided to walk a little further along the Cycle Track.  At P2 Michael wandered off round Cock Cabin Pond.

I spotted a couple of what I think were Carp swimming lazily near the edge of the pond.

Iris?  There are a lot of them round the northern edge of the pond.  Michael deviated again at P3.
