A Lovely start to the Weekend at Glasson Sailing Club with warm sunshine but little wind

The first 2008 session on the basin took place on Saturday 10th May.

Several members benefitted including Rebecca and Jessica Sharples, Jason, Leonie, Max, Meredith & Alex (sorry if I've rembered A's name incorrectly) Kennedy.

Rebecca and Jessica had their first session in sole charge of a Topper. Rebecca went on to go solo on the Topper on the river on Sunday afternoon.

We had the use of two Toppers, a Comet and a GP14 provided respectively by John Wood, Michael Swarbrick, Alison Rayson and Jason Kenendy and teh Club rescue boat.

We could have done with a little more wind but everyone seemed to enjoy and benefit from the session.
