The inclement weather caused the racing to be cancelled.

Three boats took to the water.  Three crews returned but only two boats.  The third boat, Sonny's Fireball, was last seen inverted and drifting out to sea.

Chris Oxborough from the Maritime Museum who gave an interesting and enjoyable talk on 'The Great Storm of 1703' on Saturday night.  Chris was making the point that the severe weather conditions experience in 1987 may have had nothing to do with global warming
