Martin & Samantha Topping - Membership Number 17

Martin, Kath & Samantha have owned many different types of racing dinghy- 505, Solo, Lark, Merlin Rocket, Pisces etc..

Their current boat is a RS400 shown here

Among previous boats have been a 505 which Martin sailed with Tony Jamieson. At the time Samantha had a Pisces. Kath used to sail a Solo but she sold it to Michael Swarbrick

The family owned Suzi for a time. Martin bought Suzi with Peter Squires from Michael Swarbick. Peter sold his half to Martin. At some time Martin lowered the saloon floor and fitted windows. Eventually Martin sold Suzi to the Sharples family who sold it back to Michael in 2010

Ivan Haslam - Membership Number 26

Ivan, had a Laser, which he replaced by a later model pictured.

He also loves windsurfing.

He has owned a succession of cruisers a Swift 18, a Leisure 17 and now a Dehler 25.

He also has a Wayfarer

Robin Whitham

Robin races an OK and a Finn

He also has a Wayfarer

Michael Swarbrick - Membership Number 23

Michael Races a Topper. He also has a Sprint (Dart) 15 and Cobra 700

First boat was a cruiser Suzi which he had fitted out himself from an 'egg shell'. Now bought it back!

Then he acquired a Solo, 2933,- Super's Crew.

Whilst still having Suzi and Super's Crew he purchased a GP14, 10321 - Whiteboat

The Solo was a wooden boat so unable to store it and keep it in good shape he sold it later getting a Gull, 1873 - Tubby

In 1998 with Denys Harland he bought a delapidated Tamarisk 25 and embaked on restoration. He sold the part completed boat to a sailor in Pembroke

He sold the Gull because he wasn't using it.

In 2004 he rescued a Mirror, 7892 - from the bonfire eventually restoring it by September 2006 for his grandson Jaja

He sold his GP for a Dart 15

In 2012 he sold the Dart and acquired Owen's GP when Owen got a Laser Radial

Ian Sharples and family race a GP14 - Whiteboat

They also have a Hunter Horizon 30 - Chablis

Owen Smith - Membership Number 294 sold his GP14 to Michael Swarbrick and now races a Laser Radial

Martin Lord and Martin Ward sail a GP14

Both have small cruisers

John Howarth sails a Hobbit and a Leisure 23

Chris Elleray sails a Mirror and a 420 also owns a small cruiser

Dave (Slippers) Holmes sails a Topper and a large crusier

John Glynn - Membership Number 14 sails a Bosun and an Atalanta 26

Jack Broadhead & Glynn Holmes sail an ISO.

Jack sometimes sails his Dad's Phantom

Jack & Gluynn also sail a small racer

Alex Ratcliffe sails a Heron and a MaGruer 28
