The West Coast Icicle Trophy Engraving on Trophy: GLASSON SAILING CLUB 2002 Formerly Solo West Coast Trophy Presented for: The Icicle Series Weekends from beginning of January to the middle of March. Normally a minimum of six weekends with at least one race each day. 55% of the races to count. 55% of the races to have been competed in to qualify for a position. In 1988 the trophy was presented for a special Solo Open Meeting held at Glasson Sailing Club and was originally intended to be for Solo Class Racing. This event was not taken up by the Solo Class Association so from 1989 to 1991 and 1993 to 1996 it was presented to the best performing Solo at Glasson Sailing Club. In 1992 presented for the best placed Solo at the Regatta Open Meeting. As there had been no Solos in the club since 1997 the trophy was re-allocated to the Icicle Series in 2002.
