Formby, Worden & St. Anne's

August 2013

On Sunday 18th August our neice Nici and her children Lauren and Josh came to stay with us for a few days.  On Monday 19th Augst we all went to Formby beach with Trudie, Lloyd and Jaja.

It was a bright day but the rain we feared only turned up as we were leaving.

Straight away I walked out to paddle, the tide was ebbing but close to us.  Josh and Jaja came with me.

Tuesday 20th August - Trudie loves Worden Park so she insisted on taking us all there today

Wednesday 21st August - St. Annes today - We started off with lunch at the Beach Terrace Cafe, a favourite eating place of Michael & Suzie.

The boys tried out football but the girls were determined to build a sand sculpture, a car

I decide to walk to the sea.  I gave up halfway, it didn't seem any nearer.  On the way back

Time to pack up, even the donkeys were leaving

Thursday 22nd August - Their last day with us.  We decided to stay at home and play in the garden

They set off home in the early evening having thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we had enjoyed their visit and are looking forward to the next time.
