Health Walk - Tuesday 8th April 2014

We were ten and two halves today. Perhaps the torrential rain at around 0930 hours put some people off. There was a cold wind but it remained dry and we had some sunshine.
Elizabeth was our leader and she led us off round Cuerden Hall

and down the drive to the Cinder Path - the trees are now breaking out in green with the last of the daffodils. We strolled round Cock Cabin Pond, through the little wood and down to the Stone Bridge. Up to the corner of the Lake and alongside.

Here are the two halves on holiday from school and thoroughly enjoying themselves - they must have covered double the ground that we did!

The cows are back in the field so out of bounds for the moment but even so the stiles are uncomfortable for a lot of our group.

Strolling down to the bottom of Gravel Hole Wood and then up into the Pinetum.
