As we arrived in the car park the Volunteer Rangers were already hard at work
A little dull to start but it brightened up and we had sunshine and thankfully no rain. There were eleven of us: Bernadette, Brian, Elizabeth H, Irene, Jacqueline, Jim, June, Mary, Maureen, Michael and Sue.
Brain was today's leader and he led us of round the back of the Barn. As we got to the Sue Rider Drive Jacqueline, Jim, June and Sue peeled off and went round the front of the Hall, green route on the map.
The rest of us headed off down the Drive towards the underworld (north part of Park).

St. Savior's Church, used by the Townley Parkers but their access road has been lost under the Motorways. I was christened there many years ago.

Back in the main park Bernadette noticed this frog spawn in Cock Cabin Pond

As we came out of the Unnamed Wood we spotted the children under Alison's wing, Alison is the Park's Education Officer.

The Volunteers were still hard at it
Then on to the Barn where Jacqueline and Sue were waiting for us, June and Jim had had to go on to an appointment.
Jacqueline, Jim, June and Sue, when they left us, walked down to the Stone Bridge, along the Cycle Track and up Cardiac Hill to the Pinetum - green route on map.
