Health Walk - Thursday 5th February

Carmel, David, Elizabeth M, Helen, Linda E, Mary, Michael and Sandy were walking today, David was the leader

David took us through the Car Park,

and down Snake Hill to the Stone Bridge.

then up the steps to the Lake

We walked round the Lake

towards the Ponderosa where major works are still under construction

Along Cam Lane and down into Green Wood.  when you reach the bottom and start up the hill you reach a false summit

and have to go down again to go up once more to get to the top path.

We walked along the path and dropped down through the wood to climb up again tothe gate into the filed at Hawkes Clough.  We walked down to the entrance to Dog Kennel Wood but as it was getting late instead of going up into Dog Kennel Wood, Gravel Hole Wood and back up through the Pinetum, as we intended, we walked down to and across the Stone Bridge and up Snake Hill back to the Barn for refreshments.
