Health Walk - Thursday 19th February

Thursday was a very wet day, which probably discouraged some people from attending, however David (Leader), Carole, Helen, Jacquie, Linda D, Linda E and Sandy were up for it. 

We welcomed Jacquie back from her holiday and her tan put us all to shame. 

David led us down through the Pinetum; up through the Gravel Hole Wood and Dog Kennel Wood

We walked from the Barn along the Cinder Path and saw recently arrived Canada geese in the parkland near the Hall.

and around the Lake, where we noticed that the rain had not put off the Canada Geese! 

We crossed the stone bridge and walked around Cock Cabin Wood, past the pond;  down the hill to avoid the cinder path mud and then back up to the car park via Snake Hill to the warm, dry Barn.
