A dry morning, occasional sun and very windy but it didn't rain! We had nine walkers - Carmel, Elizabeth H, Elizabeth M, Helen, Jacqueline, Linda P, Michael, Sandy and Sue.
Helen led off into the Pinetum and we made our way down to the Wooden Bridge. Here Jacqueline stripped off a layer of clothing - she's always hot.

Sue wanted to do a shorter walk so Carmel insisted on going with her but when Jacqueline realised there was a shorter walk she joined them which released Carmel to come back and join the main group, see the smile.

We went down on to the main Picnic area and crossed the Stone Bridge turning up Runners Hill towards Cock Cabin Wood. We didn't enter the wood but

continued on the Cycle Track,

down on to the Cinder Path and back to the Barn where Jacqueline and Sue were waiting for us - they had walked the green route on the map.
The May blossom is out so you can now cast a clout, as Jacqueline did earlier.
