Health Walk - Thursday 4th June

A lovely sunny morning, a nice change from recent walks Twelve today. Carmel, Carole, Chris, David H, Dorothy, Jacqueline, Irene S, Linda E, Michael S, Sue and two new walkers Ann and Eileen.
David H elected to lead and led us into the Pinetum.

Walking down to the Wooden Bridge where Sue and Carmel left us to do a shorter walk - green route.

Emerging from Dog Kennel Wood we rested before climbing up into the field and back down to the Lake

The mysterious object, which I first though was a flying thing turned out to be a motorway floodlight.

Lots of Canada Geese but no goslings? We spotted the Heron flying across the Lake at head height

We walked round the pond and Michael pointed out the Nuthatch nest, which David B had shown us on Tuesday, which had been built in an old Woodpecker nest.
