Approaching the Wooden Bridge we met this delightful you woman Blackberrying

but as we headed for Gravel Hole Wood Jacqueline and Sue left us to walk along the river
- green route. As we approached the stile into the Cow Field Michael said to Barbara and Frankie that he couldn't get the walkers to go up into the Cow field, even on a day like today when there were no cows in sight. Barbara and Frankie said not to worry when you die we'll scatter your ashes in the field.
We walked on through the wood into Dog Kennel Wood and up into the field then down to the Lake

Jacqueline and Sue decided to go back up Snake Hill and Carole elected to join them. The rest of us walked on to Cock Cabin Wood.

The fishes were swimming round again but we didn't see any Damselflies or Dragonflies or the large Carp

However we did
see a young bird which we assumed was a Coot. We haven't seen the parents for a while, there were two youngsters

Today's walks
The colour of the arrows show who walked where. Where the green arrows are in front Jacqueline and Sue and then Carole got there first.
The walks are definitely helping us. Some of the walkers commented that they had enjoyed their holidays walking with greater ease.
