Today we had sixteen walkers - Bernadette D, Carmel, Carole, Colin, David H, Elizabeth M, Frankie, Graham, Jacqueline, James, Linda D, Linda E, Mary, Michael, Peter and Sue.
Numbers are still considerably higher than this time last year.
A pleasant morning, a complete contrast to Tuesday

David led us off towards into the Pinetum.

Peter leading the short walk a little way behind. They went up to the Viewing Area then down and over the Wooden Bridge but turned left to walk along the Cycle Track/river to the Stone Bridge. From the Stone Bridge they walked up Snake Hill, round the Hall and back to the Barn - green route.

Not clear but there's a robin in the lower right third. This is from below the Viewing Area, Peter and Sue walked up to the Viewing area.

There evidence of work going on at the front of the new visitors centre. I went to climb up the bank to get a closer view but just in time I spotted the bluebell shoots poking through.

On our way to the Cinder Path and back to the Barn
Jacqueline made a splendid effort today and did the long walk, well done!
Eventually we all met up in the Barn for our refreshments, the tea/coffee and biscuits.
