The rain was beginning to ease off as we arrived at the Barn. Twelve walkers, Bernadette, Carmel, Carol, Elizabeth M, Frankie, Graham, Linda E, Linda P, Michael, Paul, Sandy and Sue. Carmel led the short walk with Sandy and Sue - green route. It was our worst Tuesday turnout this year but still much much better than this time last year.

Michael, leading, was amazed at the river below, almost bursting its banks. The overnight rain must have been as heavy as promised.

Walking down to the Stone Bridge we noticed the Canada Geese appeared lost in an area we've never noticed them before

- would we be able to cross back over the river later?

See our happy smiling faces! It's great to be out in the fresh air with people whose company you enjoy.

The ford is impassable today
We walked up alongside the Lake, avoiding the muddy track and steps, and straight into the Field. At Hawks Clough we chose the path up to the Ponderosa and continued along Cam Lane to Sheephill Lane.
We walked down the lane crossing at the bottom on to the Cycle Track. We were now in four distinct groups and as i was damp and cold I encouraged everyone to press on as the knew the route from here

The Daffodils are about to burst into bloom, there are a few daffodils out in the Park for St. David's Day.
Around 6700 steps according to Bernadette's meter. Bernadette gave me the actual figure but sorry I lost it. It was around 1000 steps less than last week!
