Today we had twenty-three walkers - Ann, Bernadette, Carole, Colin C, Colin D, David, Elizabeth H, Frankie, Graham, Gwen, Helen G, James, Jacqueline, Joyce, Linda D, Linda P, Mary, Michael, Paul, Peter, Sandy, Suzie and Zandra.
It was Joyce's first time with us and twenty-three walkers is a record number!
Rain was promised for later but we had a pleasant walk.
David was leading and we set off down to the Stone Bridge.

Over the Stone Bridge and along the bottom of the Dam. Peter and Suzie are now well behind. They walked up the slope to the Lake and walked round the Lake in the opposite direction to us coming down the steps we had climbed and eventually walking along the river to the Wooden Bridge where they more or less followed the same route as the rest of us back to the Barn - green route

The goslings are back on the Lake. On Tuesday we were concerned for them as they weren't around.

Another Laburnum tree - this beautiful tree is one of the most feared of the poison plants but it does not justify its harmful reputation, there are many more more poisonous plants
