Today we had fifteen walkers - Bernadette, Carmel, Colin D, David, Elizabeth M, Frankie, Graham, Helen G, Linda E, Linda P, Michael, Paul, Rosemary, Sandy, Suzie and Freddie (Alison's Dog) - despite the inclement weather, heavy drizzle. Thanks to all of you for coming, your donations really help the Park

David was leading and, deciding the Cinder Path would be too muddy, set off towards the Stone Bridge. Michael was the back marker and Sue was leading the short walk.

Sue and her walkers, seen above coming down Snake Hill, didn't follow our lead but led her companions over the Stone Bridge and up the ramp to walk
clockwise round the Lake to the long steps and down to the Picnic Area - green route and arrows.
Walking along the bottom of the Dam they followed the Cycle Track to the Wooden Bridge

At the top of the steps Frankie said the droplets of water on the grass look like jewels - you can see what she meant.
We climbed up into Dog Kennel Wood, through Gravel Hole Wood, over the Wooden Bridge, following the same route as the short walkers, back to the Barn
for our refreshments.
