Health Walk - Thursday 4th August 2016

Today we had twenty-two walkers - Ann, Bernadette, Carmel, Carol, Colin C, Colin D, David, Elizabeth M, Ethan, Frankie, Graham, Helen G, Jacqueline, James, John W, Margaret W, Mary, Michael, Linda E, Suzie, Tahlia and Zandra.

It was Ethan and Tahlia's first walk with us.

Wet!

David was leading.  He explained his plans to perhaps go into Green Wood.  We set off along Sue Ryder Drive turning into the Cinder Path and Round Cock Cabin Pond.  The rain was quite persistent so we turned up into Dog Kennel Wood, through Gravel Hole Wood and down to the Cycle Track.  Here David surprised us and took us along the river to the Stone Bridge, up Snake Hill and back to the Barn.

Sue can't remember where she led Carmel, Carol and Margaret W but she thinks they walked through the Pinetum, down to the Wooden Bridge, along the bottom and back up Snake Hill - green route.

Sorry no photos today - Michael was busy talking, this is becoming a habit but it was a little wet and dark.
