Health Walk - Tuesday 9th August 2016

Twenty-four walkers today - Brian, Carmel, Carole, Colin C, Colin D, Elizabeth M, Frankie, Irene S, Irene T, James, John T, John W, Judy, Lawrence, Linda E, Margaret R, Margaret W, Michael, Pat, Peter, Suzie, Sylvia, Zandra and Zandra and Colin's Grandson.  

It was Zandra and Colin's Grandson's first walk with us.  I'm sorry I didn't write his name down but it's on the register which was locked in the office when we got back so will update later

Michael led the main walk.  Michael suggested going round through Green Wood (The back of ASDA) and no one dissented. Brian was Back Marker, assisted by Lawrence for the main walk.

Peter led the short walk with John T, Judy and Suzie - they kept on the top around the Hall and Pinetum viewing Area - green route.

It was a bit nippier than of late, cloudy and rain was forecast however the rain held off and we had flashes of sunshine.

We started off through the car park and down to the Stone Bridge.

We crossed the bridge and walked along the bottom of the Dam and climbed up to the Lake.

We walked the anti-clockwise way round Green Wood returning back through the Field and down and up into Dog Kennel Wood.

Through Gravel Hole Wood, up Cardiac Hill and through the Pinetum back to the Barn
