Health Walk - Thursday 1st September 2016
Photos by Michael
Today we had twenty-two walkers - Bernadette, Carmel, Carol, Christine H, Colin C, Colin D, David, Graham, Elizabeth M, Helen B, Helen G, James, John W, Linda P, Mary, Margaret W, Michael, Linda E, Paul, Peter, Suzie and Zandra.
It was Christine's first walk with us. She's a regular walker with Chorley Find Your Feet where she met Carmel and Carmel encouraged her to to try one of our walks for a change. It was Helen B's first walk and she will be joining us in future - work permitting.
Overcast but we had a dry walk. David was leading the main walk and Peter the short one, I, Michael, was Back Marker. We all set off together.

The water/mud obstacle as we approach Hawks Clough again. Not too wet today but still muddy - priority for the Park to sort this out.

Autumn leaves already! Where has the year gone?
Peter and Suzie, when they left us, walked along the Cycle Track to just past the Covert Pond where they rested on the seat in the field for a while before heading back to the Barn via Snake Hill.
Thank you David and Peter for enjoyable walks and thank you all of you for walking in Walking for Health's Find you Feet's Cuerden Valley Health Walk
