Health Walk - Thursday 10th January 2019

Today we had thirty walkers for a misty morning but an otherwise pleasant day.
Lawrence was the leader of the main walk with Frankie back marker.
Pat R led the Elite group with Margaret W back marker.

until they came to the Dam. Then round the Lake

A last look at the Lake before continuing along Cam Lane to Hawks Clough, on past the Ponderosa still on Cam Lane to Sheep Hill Lane where they crossed the road and walked down Sheep Hill to the bottom and crossed into the Park again.
They walked along the Avenue of Oaks and all the way to the Wooden Bridge, where a
a few walkers decided to finish by walking up Cardiac Hill to the Visitors Centre

along the river to the Stone Bridge and up Snake Hill back to the Visitors Centre
The Elite group entered the Pinetum, walked down Cardiac Hill, over the Wooden Bridge, up into Gravel Hole Wood, through Dog Kennel Wood, out to skirt round the side of the Lake, down the Long Steps, along the bottom of the Dam, over the Stone Bridge and up Bikers Hill, into and out of Cock Cabin Wood, along the Cycle Path to the Cinder Path. Along the Cinder Path, up the Drive, round the front of the Hall to the Visitors Centre/Cafe
