Health Walk - Thursday 24th January 2019

Today we had twenty-six walkers. A crisp morning walk as the snow was melting - participants reported feeling exhilarated!
John W was the leader of the main walk with Frankie back marker.
Margaret W led the Elite group with David H back marker.
The main group set off up into the Car Park, round the back of the Barn, down the Hall Drive on to the Cinder Path, out

The Elite group had gone down Snake Hill until the path round the front of the Hall, down the Drive and followed the main group down the Hall Drive on to the Cinder Path and into Cock Cabin Wood,

The main group left the wood and entered Walkers Wood.
The Elite group avoided Walkers Wood and went straight down Bikers Hill, both group crossing the Stone Bridge and here the Elite Group walked along the cycle Path/Riverside but the main group

Meanwhile the Elite group have crossed the Wooden Bridge, walked up Cardiac Hill into the Pinetum, up past the Fairy Village and back to the Visitors Centre/Cafe
The Main group followed the Elite Group over the Wooden Bridge and up Cardiac Hill into the Pinetum and up the side back to the Visitors Centre
Today's walks (Red Main Group, Green Short Walk Option Group).
Where there are green arrows on the red route it means the Elite walkers had followed the main >> or the main group had followed the Elite walkers >>.
