Today there were thirty-eight walkers and Serge. Twenty-six for the main walk and twelve for the short walk
"A very damp and chilly morning but we got back before the sleet set in!" - Sheila
John W led the main group with Irene S back marker.
Maggie led the Elite group with Margaret W back marker.
The Elite group entered the Pinetum and went down Cardiac Hill, over the Wooden Bridge turning left to walk along the Cycle Path

where they were met by the main group going in the opposite direction.
They continued along the Cycle Path, crossed the Stone Bridge, up Bikers Hill into Cock Cabin Wood

round the pond, coming out on to the Cycle Path again, walking towards the Cinder Path
Leaving the Cinder Path they walked up the Hall Drive, round the front of the Hall and back to the Visitors Centre/Cafe

John set off down Snake Hill in the rain, crossing the Stone Bridge and turning along the Cycle Path.

John led them through the new Kissing Gate that has replaced the Stile into the Cow Field.

Climbing up the Cow Field to the second new Kissing Gate to reach Cam Lane
They turned left into Cam Lane and walked past the Ponderosa to Hawks Clough and continuing along Cam Lane to the Kissing Gate at the Lake. Through the gate turning

Crossing the Women's Institute Bridge in to Gravel Hole Wood, down the hill to the Cycle Path, over the Wooden Bridge up Cardiac Hill, into the Pinetum and back to the Visitors Centre/Cafe

Where there are green arrows on the red route it means the Elite walkers had followed the main >> or the main group had followed the Elite walkers >>. similarly for the blue arrows
