Today there were thirty-eight walkers and Serge.
A nice morning for a walk
Margaret W led the Elite group with Frankie back marker. They went down Snake Hill, turning away from the Stone Bridge they climbed up Bikers Hill, along

Leaving the wood they saw a Heron on the Scrape
Back down Bikers Hill and over the Stone Bridge, up the steps to the lake, round to the steps into the Field, down the path, through Dog Kennel Wood and Gravel Hole Wood and back

up Cardiac Hill into the Pinetum and up the path by the Visitors Centre and a welcome brew!
James introduced himself to the main group and his back marker Michael S. He outlined his plans, and set off up through the Car Park

Walking along Town Brow looking back to see the 112 bus, if you live near the 112 bus route you can get to the Town Brow Car Park, I've seen the 114 bus here too.

Walking along the eastern shore one noticed that the Canada Geese were paired off already for the breeding season rapidly approaching. No sign of the Great Crested Grebes this year?

Leaving the Lake we climbed up the steps to walk along Cam Lane, passed the Cam Lane Cottage and through Cam Wood to

Admire the views and walk through the new Kissing Gate

Crossing the Cow Field into Gravel Hole Wood, down the hill, along the Cycle Path, over the Wooden Bridge and up Cardiac Hill, into the Pinetum and back to refreshments in the Visitors Centre
