Sheila: "Very pleasant walk today the main group of 30 led by Carmel and back marked by Jimmy _ Denise P brought George her little dog today.
The shorter option group of 9 was led by Colin and back marked by John B. "
Carmel took the main group up through the Car Park

and into the Pinetum, down Cardiac Hill over the Wooden Bridge turning right and shortly climbing up into Gravel Hole Wood

continuing through the wood, into Dog Kennel Wood and out on to Cam Lane, through the Kissing Gate into the Field

leaving the unused steps behind they continued along Cam Lane to Hawks Clough dropping down into Green Wood and walking up to the top via the 'the Killing Steps' - Sheila's description.

Storm damage. Continuing along Cam Lane back to Hawks Clough still on Cam Lane down to the Kissing Gate, the Slope on to the Stone Bridge and up Snake Hill back to the Visitors Centre.
The Elite group walked up though the car park, path to right of barn, along side of Hall to right to rejoin Snake Hill. Down to junction, up cycle path to circle Cock Cabin Wood, back to stone bridge, up the Slope past lake end to follow path through Dog Kennel and Gravel Hole woods, along track, up Cardiac Hill to Monkey Puzzle, right back to the Visitors Centre. The Long walkers beat us back!.

Where there are green arrows on the red route it means the Elite walkers had followed the main >> or the main group had followed the Elite walkers >>. similarly for the blue arrows
