Health Walk - Thursday 4th April 2019

Today we had thirty-eight walkers, Paddy and another dog.
Sheila: "Two nearly equal groups today on a chilly but dry and sunny morning. John W led the main group of 20 including 2 dogs and two new walkers with Lawrence back marking. Margaret led the shorter walk group of 18 with one new walker with Pat back marking. It seems both groups set off at a good pace today and everyone enjoyed the experience.
Two new walkers Sharon Caroll and Eileen McGuiness took forms today. Liz Flatcher is not on the system but thought she was - went on short walk with Matthew and Graham."

The Elite group which consisted of eighteen walkers, went up through the car park and past the Barn, right after the Barn and round the front of the Hall to Snake Hill, down and up the path to Cock Cabin Wood, then through Walkers Wood, over the stone bridge to the steps by the lake, U-turn down to the river and along the cycle path over the Wooden Bridge, up Cardiac Hill into the Pinetum and up the path by the Visitors Centre.
Today's walks (Red Main Group, Green Short Walk Option Group).
Where there are green arrows on the red route it means the Elite walkers had followed the main >> or the main group had followed the Elite walkers >>.
