Sheila: "Thirty seven walkers today on a dry morning which was warm in the sun. Twenty four long walkers led by Carmel and back marked by Sheila and thirteen Elite walkers led by Brian and back marked by John B. We had canine friends on both walks - George and Meg on the Elite and Wesley on the long."

It's distressing to find out that a few people have been fined for parking because they have just gone over the two hours by staying socialising after the walk.
CHECK YOUR TICKET BEFORE YOU LEAVE AND IF YOU HAVE GONE OVER THE TIME YOU'VE PAID FOR YOU CAN PUT MORE MONEY IN THE MACHINE i.e. ANOTHER £1.10.
THE MACHINE RECORDS HOW MUCH YOU'VE PAID AND THE CAMERAS RECORD YOUR ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES. SURPRISINGLY THE SYSTEM CAN WORK OUT YOUR TOTAL PAYMENTS AS YOU LEAVE.
