Having walked down Snake Hill, over the Stone Bridge, up the slope through the Kissing Gate and along Cam Lane to Hawks Clough we crossed the footbridge and headed for the Hawks Clough settlement

Yvonne: "Great turnout today, and a great record of a very different walk today with thanks to Jim, and yourself."
Beth: "Elite walk, Colin led 26 walkers, From the cafe, we walker up towards the walled garden turned left across the top of the Pinetum, down the steps by the stone wall, down the rest of cardiac over the Wooden bridge, up through Gravel Hole & Dog Kennel Woods, through the meadow. Down the steps to the lake & down the ramp, over the stone bridge and up Snake back to the cafe, Visitors Centre. I back marked and pressed John into service as a middle marker."
