Sheila: "Thirty four walkers today enjoyed a chilly and breezy but dry morning. David led the long walk with Frankie back marking. As we got to the stone bridge towards the end of the walk a small group led by Frankie returned to the Visitor Centre and the rest of the group continued up through Walkers Wood into Cock Cabin wood and back down the cycle path and up Snake Hill with Sheila back marking. Two new walkers registered today but only one walked. John B led the Elite walk with Beth back marking accompanied by two canine friends Paddy and George."
Eileen: "Sunny with a chilly breeze in Cuerden Valley Park this morning, but we soon warmed up moving along at a brisk pace up and down the many slopes and steps and covered quite a bit of ground."
David set off straight into the Pinetum and down Cardiac Hill turning right at the bottom and then left up into Gravel Hole Wood
Through Gravel Hole Wood and into Dog Kennel Wood coming out and turning right through the Kissing Gate and up into the Field on Cam Lane, Walking along at a steady pace to

We left the Lake by the long steps, walked round the Picnic Area and crossed the Stone Bridge and as Sheila said above "a small group led by Frankie returned to the Visitor Centre and the rest of the group
