Sheila T: "Forty two walkers braved a chilly but thankfully dry morning - thirty long walkers led by James and back marked by Elizabeth. Colin led the twelve Elite walkers back marked by John including one guest and Charlie our only canine friend. Thanks to our leaders and back markers today."

James introduced himself "Good Morning Cupcakes". He went on to explain that the conditions underfoot were very wet and muddy but he would do his best to find a dry walk.
He set off down Snake Hill, across the Stone Bridge, round the Picnic Area and up the Long Steps to the Lake.
