Health Walk - Tuesday 11th February

Sheila T:   "Twenty three walkers braved a cold, windy morning with intermittent hail storms - seventeen walkers led by Frankie and back marked by Elizabeth took the longer walk accompanied by our canine friend Wesley.  Margaret led the Elite group of six walkers and two canine friends Charlie and George."

Frankie set off down Snake Hill at a good pace wearing Michael out, across the Stone Bridge, round the Picnic Area and up the Long Steps to the Lake.

We literally stormed up Cam Lane towards Hawks Clough turning up toward the Ponderosa

where we rested, sheltering from the wind and rain behind the huge wall.

We continued along Cam Lane crossing Sheephill Lane and walking down to cross the road at Town Brow Car Park to reenter the Park walking along the Cycle Track

the Cycle Track, crossing the Stone Bridge
and climbed Snake Hill, we could just see the Elite walkers ahead of us, and back to the Visitors Centre

Margaret W: "Elite walk, we had a simple walk today trying to keep out of too much mud.   Down Snake Hill along the Cycle Path to the Town Brow Car Park, round the Car Park and along the Cycle Path to Snake Hill and back. right to café/(Visitors Centre)"
