It was a lovely morning for a walk with plenty of sunshine although a bit wet underfoot in places
Thirty-nine walkers today. James was leading, Frankie was back marker, Michael mid marker and Peter leading the Elite walk, six today.
James, adventurous as ever, made a new variation on our walk to the dark side of the Park
He led down us Sue Ryder's Drive all the way to Wigan Road. We crossed the road, with the help of kind motorists and walked down under the M6

Again the motorists were kind to us as we crossed back over as the footpath ran out.

fixed hoping for some birds on the pond - there were none

Peter led the Elite walkers down Snake Hill, along the bottom of the Dam, round the Lake and up into the Field dropping back down to the river, walking along the river, over the Wooden Bridge, up Cardiac Hill, round the side of the Pinetum to the new building and back to the Barn.
