Photos by Michael S - Please click on photos to see a larger one We were lucky to escape the rain, even had lots of sunshine. 37 walkers took part. Another good turnout. Lawrence was leading, Michael S was back marker and Suzie leading the Short Walk Group, six today.
Suzie led her group round the west side of the Barn, through Sue Ryder's car park and across the front of the Hall so again we were already going in opposite directions She took them round the side of the Hall and joined the main path and up past the new building entering the Pinetum on it's eastern edge then going down Cardiac Hill but turning left along the river whereas we turned right and climbed up into Gravel Hole Wood. We climbed up into the Field and negotiated the steps down to the Lake. We walked round the Lake, down the long steps, along the bottom of the Dam and over the Stone Bridge. The Short Walk Group had already crossed the Stone Bridge and climbed up Bikers Hill. We struggled through the large puddle and entered Walkers Wood joining the Cycle Track again and then entering Cock Cabin Wood.
We walked up Sue Ryder's Drive back to the Barn where Harry confirmed that Lawrence is now a certified Health Walk Leader.
