Photos by Michael S & Judy - Please click on photos to see a larger one Another lovely sunny morning but the cloud increased as the walk progressed. Thirty-three walkers took part. Michael S was leading, Carmel was back marker and Brian leading the Optional Walk Group, Suzie back marking, ten today - is this a record? Michael wanted to do his favourite section of the walks - the river. Of late this has been too wet and muddy although this hasn't stopped the regular dog walkers. It's never been quite as scenic since the floods of December 2015 when the stepping stones were moved or swamped. We set off round the Barn to Sue Ryder's Drive intending to walk along a section of James' Walk We walked round the Hall As we turned up into Walkers Wood we spotted the Optional walkers walking along the Dam. They had left the Barn turning left and walked along the south side of the Hall to join Snake Hill. Leaving Walkers Wood we headed back to cross the Stone Bridge. After crossing we walked along the bottom of the Dam and up the steps to the Lake. We walked round the Lake and
The Optional walkers had climbed up into Dog Kennel Wood
We continued along the Cycle Track past the Covert Pond and turned into the trees to find the river and walk back
