It was Brenda and Janet S' first walk with us. Michael S was leading, Frankie was back marker. Brian was leading the Optional Walk Group, Peter was back marking, five today. Michael explained that he didn't realise he was leading and said he didn't know where he was going but Carmel suggested the river walk so after introducing Janet S and Brenda he led off down Snake Hill. We went up into Walkers Wood and back down Bikers Hill crossing the Stone Bridge and, for a change, walked north along the river to the Nature Reserve fence, walked along the fence and up the steps to the Lake We walked round the lake and up in the Field to drop down to the Cycle Track and walk along the river. We carried on along the Cycle Track until we came to the wood past the Covert Pond where we walked to the river's edge and walked north along the bank
The 'Elite' walkers ventured into the North Sdie of the Park via the Cinder Path and the Dragonfly Pond, didn't see any dragonflies?
